Tricks Of The Game - Casino Royale Poker
Caught a fancy of casino royale poker? Well, we can understand your urge to beat an international terrorist at the table in a high stakes game. Whatever may be your wish, you first need to know what Texas Hold'em is. It is a variation of the standard card game.
Each player deals with a couple of cards (known as pocket cards) kept face down. Thereafter, the betting starts. This is done on the basis of each player's pocket cards. After betting, the dealer throws 3 community cards known as the flop. A player's initial hand comprises of two pocket cards and three flop cards. Then starts another betting round.
After this round, the dealer puts a 4th card called the turn. There is more betting after this. Then the dealer places the 5th card at the table known as the river. The aim is to develop the ultimate 5-card hand from community cards placed on the table and pocket cards of the player.
In casino royale poker, the player has three choices: he/she can either make use of both pocket cards, or use one of them, or use neither of them to form a hand. If the player creates the best hand by using 5 community cards, the move refers to as playing the board. The ultimate result of this move is to split the pot. This is because other players could also utilize the same cards to form their hand.
Rules
The first step is to form a betting limit with all other players. This is required to keep the game a game and not a battle! Now, there are 3 fundamentals of casino royale poker:
- Before the cards are dealt, players bet the agreed amount. A dealer button tells which player is the dealer during the particular hand. The player positioned to the left of the button posts a small blind. The amount is half the minimum bet.
- The player to the left side of small blind posts a big blind. The amount is same as the minimum bet.
- Now is the time to deal. This is done clockwise from the dealer. Each player of casino royale poker deals with a single card face down. This is followed by a second card.
- The round of betting begins during which the player is positioned to the left side of big blind. This player has the power to call the bet amount, fold the hand, or even increase the amount.
- Thereafter, the game progresses to other players. Now, they must either call, or fold, or raise till they arrive at a big blind. In case no player raises until now, the big blind has the power to check his/her own blind wager.
- Next, the dealer deals the flop. Another betting round starts. It begins with the player who is positioned to the left side of the dealer.
- The dealer discloses the turn card after all the bets match or players fold their hand.
- Another betting round follows until the players match the bets. The dealer then deals with the river card.
- The player possessing the highest hand is the winner of casino royale poker. He/she grabs all the money in the pot!
